Fall 2012 SAGE Lecture Series Announced
Senior Adults Gaining Enrichment (SAGE), an outreach program
of Penn State Lehigh Valley, has announced the schedule for its fall 2012 four-part lecture series. Each
SAGE session begins with coffee at 10:30 a.m., the featured speaker at 11 a.m., and lunch at noon. All
lectures will take place in room 135 at Penn State Lehigh Valley in Center Valley. The fall schedule is as
follows:
Friday, September 14
“Emotional Wellness for Positive Living”

Friday, October 5
“From Mine to Metal: A History of Zinc in Eastern Pennsylvania”

Friday, November 2
“The Poe You May Not Know”
Barbara Cantalupo, Associate Professor of English and Editor of the Edgar Allan Poe Review
Friday, December 7
“Abraham Lincoln’s Transformation of America”
Joseph Garrera, Executive Director, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum
