Continuing Education offers two LEED green building courses

Penn State Lehigh Valley's office of Continuing and Professional Education will offer two courses that focus on green building design and construction practices. Both courses prepare participants for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification exams, but are open to anyone with an interest in green building practices regardless of whether they take the exam.

 

LEED Green Associate Exam Prep Course

February 8, 2010 from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Penn State Lehigh Valley – 2809 Saucon Valley Rd., Center Valley, PA 18034

The LEED Green Associate (LEED-GA) credential denotes general knowledge of green design, construction, and operations. This LEED Green Associate exam prep course includes a review of the LEED rating systems, simulated exam questions, and strategies for passing the exam. LEED-AP+ Building Design and Construction Exam Prep Course

The LEED Accredited Professional (LEED-AP+) credential signifies a greater depth of knowledge in green building practices and specialization in one of several fields. This LEED-AP+ Building Design and Construction BD+C) exam prep course includes a review of LEED credits, simulated exam questions, and strategies for passing the exam. The cost of the course is $495/course or $449/person for multiple enrollments.
