SAT review course offered for high school students

Penn State Lehigh Valley is offering high school students an opportunity to prepare for the SATs from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturdays, January 16 through March 6, 2010. The review course is available at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Corporate Learning Center in Bethlehem.
The 24-hour course provides an overview of the math, verbal, reading comprehension, and essay portions of the test.  For SAT test dates and registration information, visit www.collegeboard.com.
Penn State has been successfully preparing students for the SAT exam since 1968. Penn State-approved faculty will teach proven test-taking techniques to help students improve their effectiveness on the exam. Sessions cover the physical arrangement and format of the test, recommended order for test taking, ways to improve test vocabulary, strategies for solving mathematical questions, and ways to reduce the time needed to answer questions.
