Adult Learner Success Series examines 'Women and Work'

Career Services at Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced the next installment of the Adult Learner Success Series. "Women and Work," an opportunity to learn about women's leadership in the workplace, will be held from 5-7:00 p.m., Thursday,

May 7, in the Atrium at the Lehigh Valley campus in Fogelsville.


During the course of the program, a variety of topics will be discussed including research on the advancement of women presented by David Livert, assistant professor of psychology; reflections of an adult learner balancing multiple roles presented by Lorraine McClure, Penn State adult learner and Student Affairs staff member; and information on women’s organizations in the Lehigh Valley.


This event is free and open to the campus community. Dinner will be provided to participants. Registration is requested by April 30, and can be completed by contacting Jessica Kirkwood, coordinator of career services, at jlk296@psu.edu, or by calling (610)285-5002.
