15 Year Penn State Veteran Announces Retirement
After 15 years of devoted service, Lothar Gumberich, management development coordinator at Penn State Lehigh Valley, has announced his retirement. His duties will be assumed by Pamela Klass, a former project engineer at an engineering consulting firm.
During the course of his tenure, Gumberich, who was based at the Corporate Learning Center, coordinated management training programs for regional businesses and non-profit organizations. These programs provided leadership, supervisory, project management and technical writing skills, among other things, to organizations including Lehigh Valley Hospital, Grandview Hospital, Lutron Electronics, Mack Trucks, and Orasure.
Prior to joining Penn State, Gumberich worked for many years in marketing and sales. He looks forward to putting a greater focus on his role as associate chaplain at Easton Hospital and serving on the boards of local organizations.
