Rumfield receives Student Appreciation and Recognition Award
Linda Rumfield, Coordinator of the Learning Center, was presented with the 2008 Student Appreciation and Recognition Award (SARA) during the 22nd annual Honors Convocation at Penn State Lehigh Valley. The SARA award is presented annually to a staff or faculty member for outstanding work and dedication to the success of students on campus. The award recipient is selected by the student body through the Student Government Association.
Dr. Ann M. Williams, Chancellor of Penn State Lehigh Valley, comments, "This is probably one of the most coveted awards of the campus. Linda has helped hundreds of our students—this is their way of saying 'thank you.'"
