Part-Time Faculty Member Receives Outstanding Teaching Award
Charles A. Green, instructor in History, was awarded the 2008 Penn State Lehigh Valley Outstanding Part-Time Faculty Teaching Award at the 22nd annual Honors Convocation held recently at the campus in Fogelsville.This prestigious award recognizes a part-time faculty member who has been teaching at Penn State Lehigh Valley for at least three years and has shown an outstanding commitment to the students. The individual is nominated by students and peers. Dr. Ann Williams, Chancellor of Penn State Lehigh Valley, remarks, "We are blessed to have quality part-time instructors such as Charles Green.”Green, of Bethlehem, received a bachelor’s degree in History from Lehigh University in 1978 and a master’s degree in History from East Stroudsburg University in 1985. He has been an adjunct faculty member at the campus since 2002.
