Michelle Kline Recognized for Teaching Excellence
Michelle M. Kline was awarded the 2008 Teaching Excellence Award at Penn State Lehigh Valley’s 22nd annual Honors Convocation held recently at the campus in Fogelsville.
This honorable award recognizes a faculty member who has been teaching at Penn State Lehigh Valley for at least two consecutive years and has shown an outstanding commitment to the students. The individual is nominated by his or her students and peers. A selection committee comprised of previous winners reviews a collection of evaluations, letters of support, and the nominee’s teaching philosophy to select the recipient.
Dr. Ann M. Williams, Chancellor of Penn State Lehigh Valley, states, “Mrs. Kline is certainly well-loved by her students. She continues to be a proponent of quality business education—the proof of her success is in her students.”
Kline, of Kutztown, is a lecturer in Accounting and is the coordinator of the Business program at Penn State Lehigh Valley. She holds a master of accountancy degree from Virginia Tech. She joined the faculty of Penn State Lehigh Valley in 2002.
