Graduates of ESL Master's Degree Program Announced

Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced the 2008 graduates of the University of Turabo's English as a Second Language (ESL) master's degree program, which focuses on second language acquisition, methods of teaching, communication skills, and reading processes.
The ESL program has been developed to meet the needs of educators interested in acquiring a broad knowledge base to work with students who have limited proficiency in the English language.
This year’s graduates include: Marcia S. Balester, McAdoo; Nora J. Deppen, Bethlehem; Andrew T. Doren, Macungie; Samia Elchaar, Bethlehem; Jennifer L. Knauer, Northampton; Amie M. Krauth, Whitehall; Rosimar A. Lloyd, Whitehall; Michele L. Mascia, Blakeslee; Devon Remsnyder, Stroudsburg; Michael F. Russo, Laurys Station; Chelsea M. Shive, Allentown; Luz Maria Velazquez, Bethlehem; and Jennifer M. Voorhees, Allentown.
