Unity Day Celebration at Penn State Lehigh Valley

Students, faculty, and staff at Penn State Lehigh Valley will come together on Tuesday, April 22, to celebrate Penn State University's annual Unity Day. The purpose of Unity Day is to create an atmosphere of appreciation of cultural differences and to unite the campus community.  

Activities scheduled at the campus include:

·        Hot dog and soda special, Multipurpose room, 11 a.m.

·        Ethnic Foods sampling: Polish, Jamaican, Indian, Spanish, Chinese, German, Celtic, Arabic,          beginning at 11:30 p.m.

·        Tie-dying shirts in the Atrium

·        Earth Day celebration by planting a tree and flowers around campus, and making bird houses, sponsored by SGA

·        Blues singer Sarah Ayers performing at 1:30 p.m.
