Intellectual Enrichment for Mature Adults

Penn State Lehigh Valley is offering a special enrichment program for adults 55 and older to attend five monthly lectures to be held on the first Friday of each month, beginning in February, at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Corporate Learning Center in Bethlehem.  

The schedule for the upcoming lectures is as follows:

            February 1 – Seen and Heard: The Women of Television News, presented by Dr. Nichola Gutgold, Associate Professor of Communication and Sciences, Penn State Lehigh Valley  

            March 7 – Cultural Globalization, presented by Dr. Margaret Christian, Associate Professor of English, Penn State Lehigh Valley

              April 4 – Gautama Buddah & Jesus Christ, presented by Dr. William H. Jennings, Professor Emeritus of Religion, Muhlenberg College

Cost for the five-lecture series is $50 per person. Doors open at 10 a.m. and lectures begin at 11 a.m. Morning coffee and lunch are included in the cost.
