All Penn State Engineering Alumni in the Lehigh Valley are invited to an Open House on Tuesday, January 29, (snow date – Thursday, January 31) from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute in Schnecksville. Interested alumni will learn how they can get involved in preparing the engineers of tomorrow through the Emerging Engineering Professionals Program.The program is a collaborative effort between Penn State Lehigh Valley and the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute to provide senior high school students in Lehigh County with the opportunity to get a jump start on their career as an engineer or engineering technician. The one-year, half-day program is for high school seniors that introduces students to the discipline of engineering through college course work, job shadowing experiences at companies in the Lehigh Valley, and integrated classroom activities.If interested in attending the Open House, contact Stacy Hamm, Office of Alumni Relations, at 610-285-5064, or via e-mail at email@example.com by January 20.
