SAT Review Course offered at Penn State Lehigh Valley

Penn State Lehigh Valley is offering high school students an opportunity to prepare for the SATs on Saturdays, January 12 – February 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at Penn State Lehigh Valley in Fogelsville. The 21-hour course provides an overview of what students need to know about the math, verbal, reading comprehension, and essay portions of the test.  The SAT test date is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2008. Penn State has been successfully preparing students for the SAT exam since 1968. Penn State-approved faculty will teach proven test-taking techniques to help students improve their effectiveness on the exam. Sessions cover the physical arrangement and format of the test, recommended order for test taking, ways to improve test vocabulary, copyrighted approach to solving analogy questions, and ways to reduce the time needed to answer questions.
