Students to Participate in Alcohol Awareness Day Activities

10/3/2007 —

Penn State Lehigh Valley students will have the opportunity to learn how the effects of alcohol can impair their judgment as part of the campus’ annual Alcohol Awareness Day activities.

On Wednesday, October 10, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the campus will offer educational information, alcohol-related screenings, and mocktails to support positive social gatherings. The alcohol-related screenings are provided by Alliance Counseling and Wellness Coaching, LLC, of Allentown. This event heightens student awareness on how alcohol, even in moderation, can affect their bodies and capacity to think clearly. The event will take place in the Atrium at Penn State Lehigh Valley in Fogelsville.
