First class of Practical Nursing Program announced

Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced the first class to complete the requirements of the Practical Nursing program. In their honor, a celebration will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus in Fogelsville. A keynote address, entitled "Compassion: The Endless Dance," will be given by Dorie Weaver, RN, MSN.
Students who have completed the program include: Michele L. Andino, Carolyn Ayiera, Lauren C. Benedict, Bobbi Joelene Butz, Laurie A. Salloum, and Chrissy L. Sepulveda, all of Allentown; Nicole Maret, Jessica Marquez, and Iris N. West, of Bethlehem; Seada Musa, Catasauqua; Theresa M. Guth, Coplay; Marie A. Cadet-Jealis and Samantha Jo Davis, Easton; Karen L. Schaffer, Emmaus; Stacey Jóel Andrews, Macungie; Bonnie J. Burgess and Lori A. Simons, Nazareth; Denise M. Keeny, Quakertown; Jennifer L. Parsons, Richlandtown; and Agnes E. Kunigus, Riegelsville.
