Images in Black and White on Exhibit
For nearly thirty years, Dr. Barry H. Slaven has been creating an incredible photographic portfolio in addition to creating a name for himself as a noted general surgeon. During the month of May, his photographs will be on display in Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Concourse Gallery in Fogelsville. This exhibit features infrared landscapes from across the country.
Slaven blends his personal life and travels with his medical world into his work. His other photographic works include a look at such places as Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona; Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts; the Opera House in Sydney, Australia; and views of Tuscany, Italy; while his medical images focus on the operating room and surgical procedures.
The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gallery is located at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus at 8380 Mohr Lane in Fogelsville.
