Opportunities available for Human Resource Professionals
PennStateLehighValley, in partnership with the Holmes Corporation and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), is offering the instructor-led version of the official SHRM Learning System program. Classes will be held at thePennStateLehighValleyCorporateLearningCenteron Saturdays, January 13 throughApril 14, 2007,8 a.m.– 12noon.This course is designed to provide an overview of key areas in Human Resource Management and covers Strategic Management; Workforce Planning and Employment; Human Resource Development; Compensation and Benefits; Employee and Labor Relations; and Occupational Health, Safety, and Security. Course materials correspond to the functional areas, responsibilities, and knowledge as defined by the Human Resource Certification Institute.
