Spirit week boosts support for dancers as THON draws near

The Penn State Lehigh Valley THON team is sponsoring a Spirit Week from February 15-19 to generate excitement and support as the dancers prepare for THON weekend. In addition to themed-dress days, Spirit Week will also include the annual THON Dancer Send-Off Celebration at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 18.
Students can show their support for THON by dressing according to the following themes on each day of Spirit Week:
Monday: Pajama Day
Tuesday: Crazy Hat/Crazy Costume Day
Wednesday: Tye-Dye Day
Thursday: Wear Penn State Lehigh Valley's THON color (to be announced)
Friday: Penn State Pride
All are invited to attend the send-off celebration and cheer on the Lehigh Valley campus's four dancers as they prepare for their 46-hour, no sleeping, no sitting dance marathon to raise money for kids with cancer. Last year, the Penn State Lehigh Valley THON team joined with teams from other Penn State campuses to raise $7,490,133.87. THON will take place from February 19-21 at the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park.
