"Blue Carpet"  Grand Opening will be held in Fall 2010. Details to come.

Our new second floor library will be completed for the Spring Semester. Until then, students will find a welcoming place for quiet study, online research, and collaborative work in rooms 216 and 218. Library desktop and laptop computers can be used for research, writing documents, creating presentations, and various other tasks.
Although our book collection will be in storage while the library is in its temporary quarters, students can easily order books, videos, music CDs, and other materials from the among 5 million items held by Penn State libraries across the system. Generally materials ordered will arrive within a few days. In addition, our library now offers over 100,000 books online and 500+ databases with online articles, encyclopedias, images, historical diaries, and many other types of information.
The library staff is always happy to help with research questions in the library, and online assistance is available via e-mail to jsandt@psu.edu.

The Penn State Lehigh Valley Fitness Center and Tennis Courts will be closed at the Fogelsville campus. Southern Lehigh Schoold Districit has public courts available near the Saucon Building. The fitness center and cardio studio will be constructed and opened during Spring 2010. Penn State Lehigh Valley Athletic Department has partnered with Steel Fitness in Bethlehem and Swim-In-Zone (across the street) to offer our campus community with discounted programs and options for fitness and recreation activities. Please contact the Office of Student Affairs for more information.

All services at the Fogesville campus have been terminated. The Fogelsville campus will eventually be sold.

All vehicles driven to campus must be registered. More than one vehicle may be registered; however, only one permit will be issued. The permit is transferable and can be used on any vehicle that you may be driving to campus. There is no fee for a parking permit, but failure to obtain a permit can result in a $10.00 parking fine.

The Center Valley location for Penn State Lehigh Valley will be served by LANTA public bus service. Specifically, we have arranged for the Route 4 system, which goes directly to campus, to pick up along Emmaus Ave. There are several students who will be living off campus at Liberty Park Apartments right near the bust stop. In general, any commuter can use the various bus systems to reach campus. In addition to Route 4 travelling directly to campus, travelers may transfer from D, G, or J bus routes to Route 4. The PSUTXT text-messaging system is a key tool by which Penn State can communicate directly with the University community in emergency situations. Don't be caught uninformed. Sign up for PSUTXT and have messages sent directly to a cell phone when bad weather delays or cancels classes, or if another emergency situation arises. To register, go to http://live.psu.edu/psutxt and clicking on the PSUTXT REGISTER button at the bottom of the page.
