Showcase Scheduled for Management Development Professionals
The Penn State Team Innovation Center Regional Forum will be held from 8-10:30 a.m., April 20, at the Corporate Learning Center in Bethlehem. Geared toward human resource and training and development professionals, the forum allows attendees to identify and address common training and development challenges through a hands-on demonstration of GroupSystems™ software.
GroupSystems™ software provides real time results for group collaboration sessions. Penn State invites professionals to find out how our Team Innovation Center, along with technology, can help their organization capture and manage information. The faculty facilitator will help participants identify deliverables and structure an agenda for strategic planning, policy formation, performance gap analysis, marketing, and new product launch among other things.
The faculty facilitator for this forum is Joseph Walk, instructor, Management Development Programs and Services, and director, Management Development's Team Innovation Center, at The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Walk has more than twenty years of leadership and managerial experience as a professional military officer, having worked in training, problem solving, counseling, and course development. He has also worked in the hospitality industry as a conference manager, where he developed proficiency in managing projects to ensure customer desires were exceeded. His particular expertise lies in instruction, leadership, management, customer service, time management, staff supervision, standardization, training development, trend analysis, strategic planning, and communication.
