The Office of University Relations has the capability to take high-quality digital photographs with department cameras. In addition, the office has a digital camera to loan out to departments to take photos when its staff is unavailable. If a request is made for photographs to be taken for a very limited purpose, the office will loan a digital camera to the requesting individual/department for their use. As a reminder, it is important to announce to members of an event that photos will be taken and could be used in marketing and promotion of the campus, but they are able to self-identify if they do not want their photo taken. Photo release forms are available for individual photo requests.
The Office of University Relations staff makes every attempt to take photographs at major campus events; however, there is no guaranteed availability of a staff member to take pictures for every campus event, especially for weekend and evening events. If you would like photographs taken at a campus event, please request it through the form below.
Please submit your event photo request at least three weeks prior to the event. While every effort will be made to assist, a photographer cannot be guaranteed. By providing as much notice as possible, it will help with scheduling or making alternate arrangements.
