Principal Certification (30 graduate level credits) - The Principal Certification in Educational Leadership (Administrative Level I) program prepares teachers and supervisors to take administrative positions and helps candidates meet Pennsylvania certification requirements in K-12 educational administration.  Learn More

Teaching English as a Second Language Abroad (TESLA) - This three-week online program provides a basic introduction to teaching English language learners (ELL) in foreign contexts. Through weekly course modules, participants will be introduced to a toolkit of ideas and strategies to prepare them for working with a variety of ELLs. Learn More

Writing Specialist Certificate  (15 graduate level credits) - The Writing Specialist Certificate is designed to afford educators deep study in all aspects of teaching literacy. The Writing Specialist Certificate will contain twelve core credits plus a 3-credit elective concentration for a 15-credit certificate. Learn More

Go 60 Program - Penn State’s GO-60 Program waives tuition and fees for credit courses for individuals who are at least 60 years old. The program is in effect only when classroom space is available. In addition to the age requirement, to qualify for the Go-60 program individuals must be retired or working less than half-time and must be a Pennsylvania resident or, if not a resident, a former Penn State student or past employee. Go-60 individuals also must meet any course prerequisites. The program does not apply to courses, noncredit workshops, conferences, and other activities offered by Penn State Continuing Education.  Learn More
