Personal Home Care Administrator Series starts April 8, 2014
Designed for professionals who are preparing to become personal care home administrators as well as for healthcare workers who need to meet their continuing education requirements, these courses address topics surrounding personal care homes as well as those issues related to patients who need home care assistance.
Penn State School of Nursing Outreach is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, and accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.
Participants who complete the 100-hour training program are eligible to take the PCHA examination on Thursday, May 15, 2014.
The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare also requires Administrator Orientation, which is offered by the State, at no cost.
Scholarships for students pursuing the Personal Care Home Administrator Training may be available through the PA Department of Public Welfare.
