Our newest community education offering highlights the research and talent of Penn State Lehigh Valley faculty. Six @ Six features six one-hour lectures in order to provide an “in-depth” series on a specific topic. Lectures are held at 6 p.m.
Shakespeare’s Guide to Love and Marriage
Come explore cultural differences, appreciate design elements, and enjoy Shakespeare’s language – soaring love lyrics, rude humor, and everything in between!
Featuring Dr. Margaret Christian, Associate Professor of English, the series will take place in lecture format and will offer participants the opportunity to learn in an understandable and engaging way.
Margaret Christian, PhD is Associate Professor of English at The Pennsylvania State University, teaching courses in writing and literature. Dr. Christian’s work on early modern English poetry and religious rhetoric involves thinking about sixteenth-century society and its impact on daily life at that time.
