Welcome to Penn State Lehigh Valley!
To help you get started on a path of success at Penn State you will need to learn more about the Penn State community, academic and co-curricular expectations and opportunities, and ways to begin meeting your educational goals.
After you have accepted your offer and paid your acceptance fee, you will be contacted by the Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS). An email will be sent to the address on file with Undergraduate Admissions. For students accepted for the summer 2013 semester, emails will start in late March. For students accepted to the fall 2013 semesters, emails will start in late June.
If it is determined that you need to take a math or chemistry placement test, instructions will be included in the email. If you do not need to take a placement test, you will be directed to schedule an individual appointment with the appropriate advisor. During this advising session you will discuss your goals at Penn State, how your transfer credits will be applied to your degree requirements, and to schedule courses to put your academic plan into action.
For students who will begin in the fall 2013 semester, Transfer Student Orientation will be in late August.
